Weeks ago, I have bothered you getting a recent win32 GCL binary suitable for
ACL2
Now, the story is different, I want to write some code in GCL but displaying
TK widgets
So, the binary you provided me is "gcl_2_5_4_japi_xdr_20030815_mingw32.zip"
that works fine with ACL2 2.7 on my windows XP
When calling GCL alone, and entering the following
(in-package "TK")
the response is
#<"TK" package>
but (tkconnect) does return
Error: Lookup failed in directories:("C:/JM/SOFT/GCL/lib/gcl-2.5.4/gcl-tk/"
"C:/JM/SOFT/GCL/lib/gcl-2.5.4/lsp/"
"c:/lang/source/mingw/gcl-2.5.4.cvs/gcl-tk/" ...) for name SYSTEM::|tkl| with
extensions (".o" ".lsp" ".lisp")
Fast links are on: do (si::use-fast-links nil) for debugging
Error signalled by EVAL.
Broken at EVAL. Type :H for Help.
TK>>
Something goes wrong
Is it supposed to work fine on win32 ? Should I have installed something else
prior to GCL ?

Jacques
