Unfortunately I have to delay the launch of the new release.
There is still a very irritating bug concerning SMB networks, which I
can't pinpoint... gcmd's Bugzilla
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349631) is now stormed by
ubuntu users reporting gcmd crash when using SMB browsing. Any help will
be very welcome...
I do not see any communication going on at
bugizilla about this, i do not think many of
those ubuntu users are on this mailing-list,
so your call for help here probably wont be
heard by the right people.
Shall we put something on the homepage maybe?
Though i suspect much of this ubuntu-storming comes
from something strange in the ubuntu distro..
Unfotunatley i cannot help with the SMB-problem,
since i do not even have a windows computer and
thus not SMB installed (in my case the SMB device
button is a bit annoying and i would like it gone,
but it is no big deal).
