Dear GCMD users and potential developers,
here is a short status update of the current gcmd development:
- Yesterday I committed a bugfix by Martin Mocko which prevents crashing
gcmd by hitting Enter two times repeatedly in the search dialog.
- Today I applied another patch by Jan Vleeshouwers which results in a
correct display of remaining objects when you _move_ folders from one
panel to another (by hitting "F6"). This bug was nearly eight years old!
There are still some open bugs waiting to be fixed. Any help will be
appreciated :-)
My personal goal for the future is to get rid of GtkCList, as
mentioned in this bug report:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=569762
Anybody, who would like to join me on this way? :-)
Best wishes,
Uwe
