I agree. We can plug scripts in with the context menu system, as i see it
there's no real benefit for the python plugin (as i understand it) since what
you want to do would be dealing with files anyway, in most scenarios.
A full fledged useful plugin system would be more or less require the app being
much more modular, which would be a complete redesign.
If work would be planned, it could focus on the context menĂ¼ extensions, e.g.
make these commands available as toolbar icons or so. But no priority anway.
