You are misunderstanding, nobody talked about automatic.  Obviously
there will be mediation by humans, but there should be no expectation
that, if one disappears for long periods of time, and one's current
e-mail address has to be found using a google search, that
individual's membership to the SC won't be questioned and eventually
revoked.  This is the situation in which we are now, and it's quite
suboptimal.
