I am not sure where to start searching for answer on my issue.
The problem is that, all the core files are invalid. I am sure it's not a gdb
issue, but I don't know where to start ...

I really have no ideea what is wrong with this. I have the same things
installed on two different machines (gcc, glibc, gdb), what differes are the
kernel and the hardware.
