Dear Klaus-Peter,

If it crashes with a message which concerns MPI, it comes from the fact that you linked the distributed version of mumps.
If it is the case, you have to disable mumps or to link the sequential version.

Yves.

Hello,

I tried to test getfem++ with matlab and started the demo_stokes_3D_tank.m in matlab.

The program run until the gf_model_get(md, 'solve' ...) command (in line 167) and than matlab crashed.

All tests with 3D meshes failed at the command gf_model_get (md, 'solve') in matlab.
The 2d example  demo_laplacian worked very well.

I used matlab 7.10.0 (R2010a) under ubuntu and the getfem-version getfem-4.1.1.tar.gz.

Do you know the reason why it crashed or could
you run the 3D examples under matlab R2010a ? If you could run it: How have you configured the getfem++ ?

best wishes,
Klaus-Peter Johnsen
