Dear Daniel,

Unfortunately, for the moement, there is no predefined bricks for elastic beams. The implementation of an Euler-Bernouilli beam model is however quite simple using hermite elements and the bilaplacian brick.

Yves.

Hi,
is there any example (in python) showing the usage of a simple elastic beam?
e.g. bernoullie beam theory or timoshenko beam formulation.

How does one define the cross section for the beams?
