Dear Bharat Bhushan,

In order to compile 'laplacian.cc' you should instead use 'make
laplacian'. gcc is the c compiler.  g++ with the c++-11 option has to be
used.
Anyway, you can use the python interface and the asm_generic method. See
http://getfem.org/python/cmdref_Module%20asm.html.
