Hello,

This is a nice list. Perhaps I'll put them in the wiki page to make it 
official.

One thing that's worth discussing as well is: what tools to use? At this 
moment we're
using libvirt to do some network tasks, but this is not a good design. 
All the current
tasks and the ones in the list can be done with iproute2, but a python 
library to do
all that would be awesome. Or even try to use NetworkManager to do it.

Any thoughts about the backend tools to use are welcome.
