Rodrigo will share it with you all when the fork is done
You can keep up working as usual with the current Ginger community
tree. The fork, even after
created, will be equal to the current Ginger repo anyway. It will
differ only when patches get
accepted while I'm out.

Subject: [Ginger-dev-list] Daniel is going AFK for 3 weeks,
starting Sept 7th coming back Sept 28th
Date: Fri, Sep 4, 2015 1:17 AM
Hi there,
I'll take a time off from community work starting next
week, going back
to regular activity
September 28th. Rodrigo Trujillo will be my replacement to
take care of
Ginger maintainership
during my time off.
He'll fork the current Ginger code into his personal
branch and all
patches accepted during
my time off will be commited into this fork. During this
time, latest
code base will be Trujilo's
fork, not the community Ginger repo. I'll simply merge his
fork with
Ginger master
when I come back.
A few reminders/info:
- any new feature must be done using the 'ginger-wok'
branch as a base.
This branch will be
the new master branch as soon as WoK becomes available in
a repo of its own
- any new feature must have unit test coverage. Bug fixes
in features
that aren't covered
by unit testing (all features but User Management) are
encouraged to
have testing, but
it won't be required.
- any discussion that happens during this time will be
valid, but no
critical verdict/decision
will be made until I am back.
Thanks everyone,
Daniel
