I got through #1 on my list in another thread, Nicowar does save properly in the latest commit. I was testing with JDLSpeedy in a net game, only to find out a desyync. I wrestled with my first 5 mb game dump, found the issue, and tracked down the desync to lines 2881 and 2888 AINicowar.cpp. I'm just wondering, is using float in this manner particularly threatening? And if so, would I be allowed to use Boost.Rational (i'm a big boost fan), as it would work just as well.
Well, as I've previously said, I would prefer not to add boost dependency before 1.0. It's already quite difficult to get ports up-to-date, I would like to minimize the number of lib deps for now.
As Nuage said, no float or double in any engine related code. Steph
