Okay.

(By the way, does this work on a per-resource type basis?  So that if
2 algae and 1 wood are still needed, then maximum 2 woods and 4 algae
will be requested?  Or does it mix up the different resource types?)

This is probably reasonable for high priority buildings.  It would be
nice for low priority buildings for the maximum units requested to be
min(remaining resources needed, user-chosen maximum assigned workers).

So I suppose this means I'd like to see priorities, with this being
one of the effects of the priorities.
