Hi,
The idea has been around for a long time, but my feelings towards it have not
changed. We should be able to get new content (maps, campaigns, musics,...)
from inside the game, using a content browser. It could be implemented as a
very simple layer over http. If we stream data in xml and parse it using
libxml, we should be able to do it quickly.
In the same idea, I also still think we should add the ability to merge .zip
files into glob2 virtual file system in order to add new content/replace
content.
I think we should merge those two ideas and provide an extension browser to
the user, where she can sort extensions by type. Furthermore, for each
extension the following information should be provided :
