Agreed with Ashwini. 

Logo can be less artistic.This one makes an awesome banner. 

Pros

1) Good while printing. Gradient effect wont be helpful. Stick to 2 to 3 colors. Do not forget that logo are just a small space on document. Colored printing is rare.Choose colors which will good for both black & white and colored printing. 

2) Visibility should be good in even in small dimension.

3) Size of the logo should be taken care otherwise this will unnecessarily increase the document size.
