[Gm2] How does gm2.texi build (on gm2-2011-06-10)

I just checked out the latest gm2 and gm2.texi is still missing the  
Solaris node:

makeinfo --split-size=5000000 --split-size=5000000 -I/Users/build/bld/ 
gm2-4.1.2/gcc/gm2 -o /Users/build/bld/gm2-4.1.2/gcc/gm2/ 
gm2.info ../../../src/gcc-4.1.2/gcc/gm2/gm2.texi
../../../src/gcc-4.1.2/gcc/gm2/gm2.texi:63: Node `Top' lacks menu  
item for `Solaris' despite being its Up target.

(I added the Solaris node after line 90 and all was well -- this on  
Mac 10.4.11/PPC.)

So why does makeinfo not choke on your system?  I am perplexed.
