Hello,
as per subject title - gm2-1.2.0 has been released. This has been
grafted onto gcc-5.2.0 and can be downloaded via the gm2 homepage.
http://nongnu.org/gm2/homepage.html
I've built an amd64 debian package for jessie which is also available
via the homepage (http://nongnu.org/gm2/debian.html).
The main user improvements are:
(*) bug fixes.
(*) much improved source line debugging (-g).
(*) enhanced source line to code correlation via -fm2-g.
the debugging is a huge improvement from the gm2-1.1.6 release, so
should be pretty useful if you are a user of gdb/gm2.
Internally the compiler is now bootstrapped using mc rather than p2c
and there have been some substantial inner module changes.
Many thanks to all who have emailed in bug reports and also results of
test runs and patches,
regards,
Gaius
