It wasn't a problem with device fonts, just with DEFINEFONT3.
We always checke EM size for device fonts, and always scaled them
on rendering to a 1024x1024.
With the new code, we could NOT scale the device fonts and keep them
with their full resolution. Doesn't seem very high priority to me, anyway
if you find a case in which you'd note the difference let me know.
