Follow-up Comment #6, bug #32521 (project gnash):

The other thing to be noted is that the loop body creates Number and String
temporaries, which will not be destroyed until the very end of the action
block.

This is similar to the "potlatch eat all memory" issue, and could only be
fixed by improving the memory management (ie:
http://linuxfund.org/projects/gnash/)
