Follow-up Comment #3, sr #107808 (project gnash):
is the tag handled by phpbb ? in that case you should check with phpbb about
having the option to request the AVM1 player of youtube, rather than the AVM2
player.
Youtube main website has some javascript which decides, based on user SWF
player, which version of the movie player to distribute. Maybe such script
isn't run by embedding.
Feel free to dig in phpbb sourcecode yourself and report the snippets you find
here, in case we can help :)
