Hello,
Firstly, thanks to everyone who has volunteered work on this interesting
project!
I am wondering if it would be possible to execute Gnash from the commandline to convert frames of a SWF to some other format (any graphic format, e.g. animated GIF, single frame as JPG or SVG etc) and output the file somewhere.
This would be extremly useful as there is currently no way to convert a SWF to
graphic on the fly (i.e. in a webserver). I want this functionality so that I
can convert beautiful flash graphs (e.g. FusionCharts) to something that can be
embedded in a PDF, all on the fly in a linux/apache webserver environment.
Is this at all possible?
Thanks for any ideas or comments,
John
