Let me suggest something different to you: a Mozilla plug-in which
plays videos encoded in Ogg/Theora for video and Ogg/Vorbis for audio,
and which uses BitTorrent with threads to download.

Then create some content which everybody REALLY REALLY wants to see.
Something involving naked women, cute kittens, sunny beaches, or naked
women cuddling with cute kittens on sunny beaches (hot pussy on pussy
action).  Once you've got enough people with these clients, then
you'll start to get attention from people who want to publish videos
without paying codec licensing fees or high streaming bandwidth costs.

But I'm not sure that Gnash needs to be this platform.
