I want to use flash as UI in our project, and we plan to use gnash as the middle frame(midware). 1 Could you give me some suggestions?
It would depend on what you're building. :-) Do you need streaming video support ? SWF v9 support ? Access to hardware specific features ? Gnash was originally started as a UI for digital settop boxes, so it should work just fine.
2 how does gnash interact with swf file?
Gnash can read in a swf file from disk or over the network using HTTP. I imagine you could also hack things up easily to read a swf file out of memory.
