I just fetched and tried the tarball, and hit a few issues:
When running configure i get this error:
checking where the gettext function comes from... libc
checking For the version of libtool... 2.2.6
configure: error: You shouldn't be here!
After running autogen.sh configure runs fine
I tried to build the new firefox-xpi extension, so first i ran "make dist", and
then "make xpi", but the last one fails because it expects
"gnash-trunk.tar.bz2" to have been created by "make dist", but it creates
"gnash-trunk.tar.gz". After repacking the tarball to bz2 "make xpi" runs, but
ends in this error (I've translated the errors to english):
if ! test -d /tmp/gnash-20081012-bundle/ ; then \
mkdir /tmp/gnash-20081012-bundle; \
else \
rm -rf /tmp/gnash-20081012-bundle/*; \
fi
topdir=`cd .; pwd`; \
for i in install.rdf; do \
cp -fr ${topdir}/packaging/xpi/$i /tmp/gnash-20081012-bundle/; \
done;
cp: can't run stat() '/home/tomas/gnash/gnash-trunk/packaging/xpi/install.rdf':
No such file or directory
make: *** [xpi] Error 1
I hope theese issues can be fixed :)
I'm running Archlinux x86-64.
Cheers,
Tomas
