The package libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-dev is needed in order to compile gst
libmedia, but configure doesn't notice if it's missing. I think that the
findmicrophones utility also needs yet another package that isn't required by
configure, but haven't discovered which one it is.
I guess this is release-critical.
