Now that gstreamer is the only media handler what plugins are needed to play youtube video ?

You must have:

1. gstreamer-plugins-base
2. A HTTP handling plugin. You can use either gnomevfs (base) or you can
use souphttpsrc (gstreamer-plugins-bad). You must _not_ use neonhttpsrc,
because it's not compatible with Youtube.
3. A FLV decoding plugin, currently that's gstreamer-ffmpeg.

Thanks for the response.

I had to create snapshot cvs ebuilds of gstreamer and gst-plugins-bad because the Gentoo official ebuild doesn't yet have souphttpsrc.
It reduced the number of dependencies from 80 to 6.

Thanks for the help.
