I try to run the configure-script provided with gnats-3.113 on the boss's 
Solaris-box, but it keeps failing at some compiler-test, with some weird 
message that ld is being passed "-2".

I've tried to change the CFLAGS, but I haven't even managed to locate _where_ 
in the script the error is.

Isn't configure-scripts supposed to be runnable even on this machine?

I'd be most grateful for a quick answer, since it's kind of important to get 
the gnats-system up and running.
