I don't know, sorry. This bug was found in the gNewSense distribution
and discussed on the gnewsense-users mailing list. I only checked that
it applies to Debian as well and copied the bug report. I hope that the
gNS people who raised this issue there will be able to help and figure
the bug out together. Being on a conference, I don't have much time to
look at this myself at the moment.
