Log message:
        Support 4-bytes cell id (at driver and gnokii output).
        Cache PDU mode not to set it every time before SMS commands (at driver).
        Cache output of AT+XXXX=? commands where it can be reused (at driver).
        Handle registration extended status in a sane way (at driver).
        Better handle encoding issues wrt numbers and memory types. Some phones 
        like Sony Ericsson want them to be encoded using encoding being set, 
some
        like Nokia want them in ascii (at driver).
        Optimize number of commands sent to the phone for multiple operations
        like reading entire phonebook or entire inbox (at driver).
