[MacOS X] current cvs doesn't run

Sorry to bug you again,

[Deus:command_line_cvs/gnokii/gnokii] roddi% ./gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.5.0pre9
Telephone interface init failed: Command failed. Quitting.

This was compiled with --enable-debug but the configure script ends 
with:
configure: error: not found library: pthread !!!

This doesn't happen without --enable-debug
