DKU-5 with 3100 support ?

Hi, this is my first intervention on the list.
At present, i use gnokii & smsd with a 3210 and i'm very happy... thanks for
the job !
would like to know if gnokii supports the USB DKU-5 Pop Port cable
connection on a 3100.
i recently bought this phone but don't know if it is gnokii supported (it's
not in the supported list).
so... do i buy this expensive cable ???
