Hi all

For months now I am trying to get my nokia 8310 working with gnokii over
a Sigmatel USB dongle. For far without success.
I was waiting for kernel 2.6.4 to appear in Debian testing to compile
the module stir4200 and so now I am writing, since that didn't help
either...

The problem is definitely NOT the phone, since I am also trying to
detect any IR signal using IR Monitor on my palm pilot. So far my dongle
did not produce any signal at all!

Well, here is some info about my system:

usbview sees the dongle. All seems ok there.
