Report Nokia 6600 and gnokii 0.6.0 and gnapplet.sis of 9.4.2004
Firmware V 3.42.1 16-10-03 NHL - 10 (output of *#0000#)

used packages and tools:
bluez-pan-1.1-32
bluez-libs-2.4-31
bluez-sdp-1.2-31
bluez-bluefw-1.0-68
bluez-utils-2.3-57
openobex-1.0.0-32
ussp-push-0.2
obexserver
kdebluetooth-cvs.20040208-1.tmk

gnokii --identify
GNOKII Version 0.6.0
IMEI : XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Manufacturer : MANUFACTURER
Model : MODEL
Revision : SW 1.0, HW HW_VER

IMEI has been X-out bei me.

Downloading of phonebook works (tested with name and phonenumber-pairs only):
gnokii --getphonebook ME 1 200 --vcard > phonebook-download-vcard.vcf

Writing of phonebook works partly:
cat phonebook-download-vcard.vcf| gnokii --writephonebook -o --vcard
Applet does never terminate after all 197 record have sucessfully been
transmitted - seems taht a REBOOT of phone is required to terminate gnapplet.

Some problems when writing raw format with records downloaded from a Nokia 6310
(different memory types..).
                                                  Upload terminated after
approx 10 records. So always only approx 10 raw records could be transmitted
within one connection-pass.

                                                      XGnokii won't load the
phonebook and the gnapplet terminates after a few seconds.

Good work - this is the right way!
Maybe using the syncML-interface on the phone side might be a good thing.

Other things I have working with linux so far:
OBEX send and receive with obextool or
ussp-push and kdebluetooth mount
Nokia-Filesystem with p3nfs and transfer pictures etc.
coding J2ME Applications with linuxtools (sun, nokia)

Regards
Martin
