kernel panic

I picked up a Nokia 6133 and got a CA-53 cable for it. After loading the
windows drivers that came with it, I'm able to talk to the 6133 using AT
commands and I've sent and received sms messages with it.

Having gotten that far, I plugged the USB cable into a Centos5 box,
accepted "Nokia mode" for USB on the phone and then ka-blam, the kernel
panics with the following in the message file:

Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 2
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1
choice
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: drivers/usb/class/cdc-acm.c: Ignoring
extra header, type -3, length 4
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: cdc_acm 3-2:1.1: ttyACM0: USB ACM device
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver cdc_acm
Mar 18 09:11:11 localhost kernel: drivers/usb/class/cdc-acm.c: v0.25:USB
Abstract Control Model driver for USB modems and ISDN adapters
Mar 18 09:11:12 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver cdc_ether
Mar 18 09:11:12 localhost kernel: rndis_host 3-2:1.9: RNDIS init failed, -110
Mar 18 09:11:12 localhost kernel: usb%d: unregister 'rndis_host'
usb-0000:00:1d.2-2, RNDIS device
Mar 18 09:11:12 localhost kernel: rndis_host: probe of 3-2:1.9 failed with
error -110
Mar 18 09:11:12 localhost kernel: usbcore: registered new driver rndis_host

Any suggestions? It was the latest Centos5 with a "yum update" right
before I plugged the USB in. The problem repeats and I've made two
different machines do it.

Thanks,
Jon
