N.B.: I will provide much more info for an interested helper; this is just to get the ball rolling.

Hi,

I have a 32-bit Ubuntu 9.10 machine running gnokii 0.6.30, compiled will debug symbols.  I installed this new version of gnokii about 6 days ago.  When users are sending messages, it seg faults; when users are not sending messages, it seg fault.  It has seg faulted three times this morning alone.  Follows is the "standard" output in such an event:

==<begin>===

  Message received: 0x14 / 0x0017
  2b 43 52 45 47 3a 20 31 2c 22 31 45 43 44 22 2c | +CREG: 1,"1ECD",
  22 30 30 30 31 22 0d                            | "0001"
  Received message type 14
  strings[0] = CREG: 1
  strings[1] = "1ECD"
  strings[2] = "0001"

==<end>====

Usually, this output comes alone (meaning, it is the only noticeable error).  Other times, it arrives with the following message:

==<begin>===

...
Received message type 12
lowlevel.c:465 error: 1, Command failed.

[1]+  Segmentation fault

==<end>====

gnokii 0.6.27 was previously on this machine; it was very smooth.  Upgraded because I was upgrading a different machine to have like versions.

Any help appreciated,
