Sorry, there was some unreadable binary part in here.
When including the log, please include it in the plan text. That helps.

Please note, that neither Daniele nor I (it's only us who maintain
gnokii these days) use Mac machines.

This does not look good? Are you able to backtrace? There are
instructions on wiki.
Series 40 run with Nokia PC Suite serial port :
model = series40
port = /dev/tty.Nokia310XpressMusic-CO
connection = bluetooth
That should be serial not bluetooth then.
