There are not the tags as CVS has them, because there are several other
ways how to do them. Several means at least two -- configs and tag
branches.

As for the rest, this is a functionality, yes, it does not exist yet.
However, it is quite easy to do it with wrapper scripts. (Grep logs for
that file, get those patchsets and extract diff for that file).
