You probably won't notice them regardless, because you should rarely
have to edit files which arch creates using these characters.
The sole exception is the file created by `tla make-log' -- although
even that is not exactly a big deal (e.g. vim `tla make-log` works
fine). I wouldn't mind (though maybe Tom would) picking some other name
for that file, and explicitly including it in {arch}/=tagging-method as
a `backup' file.
