That's a weird idea but yes -- I think I _might_ accept that.

Andrew, Bob, James, Miles, Robert, <everyone else who I've rudely
omitted who should be in this list>:  what do you think?   It's a
weird irregularity but perhaps a useful one.   I'll flip a coin absent 
good insight about the issue.

The command would fail if you're creating a same-archive name collision
unless you provide an overriding CLI option.

Doesn't solve the inter-archive problem that Dustin is up in arms
about but is otherwise (in my twisted view of the world) a potential
improvement.
