Just to add some (noise, history?) to that discussion.

When James Blackwell created the Wiki and I and a few other persons set
up to put some critical mass there, I first put the license notice on
the front page to be GPLv2 or later.

Jblack and I then had a discussion on #arch, and though we disagreed he
had the last word since he was hosting the service and changed the
licence to GPLv2, the change occured at version 9 of the FrontPage.

Since GPLv2+ cannot be less free than the most free version of the GPL,
I have no qualms to use that since I trust the FSF not to make the GPL
any more free than I'd want it to be: it will remain copyleft. All my
contributions to the wiki (little, nowadays) are released under GPLv2+.

Thanks James for hosting gnuarch.org.
