Well, it's the direction that this would set, not yet a real step on the
road to fascism. Compare to Tom's second, orwellian post.

What you have to fear is that this could develop in the direction of
something like a Notstandsgesetz (emergency law) back to the Weimarer
Republik, on that behalf and as a propaganded *preventive* consequence
of directly *imminent danger* the Republik mutated to a fascist state.

It's vague, yes. Nontheless it's worth considering it for edging the
view whether this speculation substantiates.
