Exactly. But if you want people to be able to work together, they all
need to have this script. And therefore, they all need to have the
same scripting language available.

And I think this is precisely what we are talking about ...

Well, what I described is just a slightly different approach to Tom's
suggestion of "tla fork" + "tla submit". I personally find it very
useful.

The advantage of Darcs being that it already exists. Seing a use-case
for an existing, similar tool can, in my opinion, help people
(including me) to understand the problem.
