texinfo is good for annoying everybody. I think that's about
it. It's almost universally reviled. Users hate it, non-GNU
developers hate it, vendors hate it.
Uh, texinfo is probobly the nicest of all the documentation formating
tools out there for non-math (where TeX rules), technical manuals
More people hate Docbook than texinfo, since you cannot even convert
docbook into info pages.
Docbook also has the most idiotic syntax known to man: <foo></foo>.
