[GNU Crypto] JCE code signing

Subject: [GNU Crypto] JCE code signing

Hi,

I'm trying to use gnu-crypto in place of a proprietary JCE provider,
but gnu-crypto.jar is not signed. As far as I can tell, this jar must
be signed to interoperate with the JCE. Without signing, various
methods such as Cipher.getInstance throw a SecurityException. Details
of obtaining a code signing cert for JCE are at:

  java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/guide/security/jce/HowToImplAJCEProvider.html

Are there any plans to sign gnu-crypto.jar appropriately? Or am I
missing something?

Thanks,

Andrew Wright
