I think I mentioned it when I checked the implementation in. The lack
of active membership here better explains why it wasn't discussed.

Probably not; I haven't tested it thoroughly enough, or added any test
cases. I'm pretty sure it is correct, but would want to confirm if it
is secure or not.

Because I haven't gotten around to writing the adapter yet. This is a
pretty easy task, however.
