What an interesting thought!  Multiplying the tempo in bpm by the
average number of notes per beat could give a numerical index of
difficulty which could be reevaluated (or trashed) when you have
enough samples.  If the numbers seem to work, they could be
translated into easy, medium easy, moderate difficulty, difficult,
very difficult, something like that.
