[Regexp] Is gnu-regexp-1.0.6.jar compatible with j2sdk1.4 ?

Hi,

 

I use gnu-regexp-1.0.6.jar in one application that currently runs on jdk1.1.8. This application was developed before java 2.

Now I am going to upgrade to j2sdk1.4 without any code change as the customer wants to do so. I did some testing and the package gnu-regexp-1.0.6.jar looks to work fine along with everything else. Can I go ahead and upgrade jdk still using the same package? I don't wan't to unnecessarily change the package since there is no code change intended.
