We need to fix that problem for 32-bit (possibly not only AIX !).
64-bit does not have this problem.
You can edit the open-cobol-0.xx/libcob/fileio.c (this fix will work on AIX but
I didn't check other platforms yet).
AFTER line
#define _LFS64_LARGEFILE 1
ADD the following line:
#define _LARGE_FILES 1
BEFORE the line
#include "common.h"
ADD the following lines:
#define fseek fseeko64
#define ftell ftello64

I used the parameter --with-lfs64 in OpenCobol ./configure, but not forget write sequential files greater then 2147483647 (32
bits limit).
The environment is :
