It has certain requirements on the processing of electronic orders
etc.
Furthermore, the new TDDSG (Teledienstedatenschutzgesetz - Law on
Privacy in Online Services) requires that the user agrees in
processing and storing of his personal data.
This is also true in the UK under the Data Protection Act. The US
offers its citizens far fewer rights over their data that most of the
world. Without this this provision the application would be unusable
in the EU.
