There certainly are. We use a program called gnugoclient, available at
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gunnar/gnugo/gnugoclient/

You may also wish to take a look at the Go Text Protocol specification
at http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gunnar/gtp/

Unfortunately gnugoclient hasn't been updated to GTP version 2 yet. I
will do that as soon as I get some more time on my hands (possibly
next week).
